Take them, leave the way you came, then turn right and head up the stairs.Īt the top of the stairs, open a door and be greeted with the grisly spectacle of two zombies feasting on a dead Nazi. Break them, crouch, and pass through into a room with three open stone coffins the one on the right has three gold bars laid out in it. The first secret area will be on the right, where a long-dead man's bones lie behind some now-weakened metal bars. After that, head up some steps and through an archway. There is a Medium Health beside a dead Nazi, so take that if you need it, or otherwise remember where it is so you can retreat there later on if necessary. These are both of the type that rise again after falling the first time, so run up and kick them before that happens. Two zombies will emerge from their tombs, one on the left and one on the right. Turn and head back across the first room, through the space the gate has opened, and into another room in the crypt. Make sure you take the silver cup treasure item before you leave. After disposing of them, face straight ahead with the area you came in from behind you, turn left, and head into that room and look for a wall panel directly across from the doorway that can be pushed in to raise the gate on the other side of the crypt. That room is a crypt, and several of the dead buried there will rise to attack you as you enter the room, followed by several undead warriors with their characteristic shields and Medieval melee weapons. Upon entering the level, you will be underneath the castle, and will have to break a weakened wall section to enter the first room. Locate the entrance to the main dig site. The fate of the free world now rests on your shoulders Agent Blazkowicz. how you accomplish this task must be left up to you.

If you were unable to disrupt the ceremony and prevent the Super Soldiers from being transformed into Dark Knights, then you will ultimately have to stop Blavatsky and the resurrection ritual. You are in uncharted territory, so it will be up to you to determine the best possible course of action. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Return to Castle Wolfenstein and I am amazed how well this game holds up today in terms of graphics and gameplay.ĭefinitely recommend this beauty. We have virtually no information for you at this time regarding your mission. Maybe I just need to git gut, but these *******s killed some of the fun I had with the game. These things shoot lightning, almost insta killing you and have a ton of health. The only thing I found a little annoying about this game, is the sudden difficulty spike with the introduction of those weird UFO human hybrid abominations. In the multiplayer mode, this showed even better, making for a good online experience. Movement and controls are fluent, and like I said, make the game fast paced. Gunfire sounds excellent and the sounds and rattles that enemies make, really enhance the experience.

In terms of sound, Return to Castle Wolfenstein is also a fine piece of work. Explosions, animations and gun impact look really good and I can only praise it. This game is from 2001/2002, but can be considered next gen for its time.

The visuals are stunning in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I did not think that it added much to the game and it sometimes slowed the game to a halt. Especially since there are some missions that require it to even progress. The introduction of Stealth in this game was a little unnecessary in my opinion. It is fast paced, hard as ever, and a worthy installment. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a great game with some amazing visuals at the time. The long awaited follow up of Wolfenstein 3D did not disappoint.
